Job Description

Position: Remote Quantum Cryptography Intern

Location: Remote

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the research and development of quantum cryptographic protocols and algorithms.
  • Collaborate with the cryptography team to analyze existing quantum key distribution (QKD) systems and identify areas for improvement.
  • Participate in simulations and experiments to test quantum cryptographic techniques and their applicability in real-world scenarios.
  • Document research findings and present results to the team, contributing to internal reports and publications.
  • Stay updated on the latest advancements in quantum cryptography and related fields through literature reviews and industry resources.
  • Help develop educational materials or presentations to share knowledge about quantum cryptography within the organization.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to explore the integration of quantum cryptography with existing security frameworks.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Quantum Physics, Cryptography, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of cryptographic principles and quantum mechanics is preferred.
  • Familiarity with quantum computing concepts and technologies, including quantum gates and entanglement, is a plus.
  • Experience with programming languages such as Python, C++, or MATLAB for simulations and data analysis.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to present complex ideas clearly.
  • A genuine interest in quantum technology and its applications in cybersecurity.
