Position: Remote IT Infrastructure Monitoring Intern

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in monitoring IT infrastructure performance, including servers, networks, and applications, to ensure optimal operation and availability.
- Collaborate with the IT team to implement and configure monitoring tools and dashboards for real-time performance tracking.
- Analyze system logs and alerts to identify potential issues and recommend corrective actions.
- Support incident response efforts by troubleshooting infrastructure problems and working with technical teams to resolve them.
- Participate in routine maintenance tasks, including system updates, patches, and backups.
- Document monitoring processes, incident reports, and standard operating procedures for reference and training purposes.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in IT infrastructure monitoring and management.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of IT infrastructure components, including servers, networks, and databases.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Nagios, Zabbix, or Prometheus is a plus.
- Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python) for automation and reporting tasks.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a remote team environment and communicate effectively.
- A genuine interest in IT operations and infrastructure management.
