Key Responsibilities

  • Data Collection and Cleaning: Assist in gathering, cleaning, and preparing data from various sources to ensure it’s ready for analysis.
  • Data Visualization: Help create intuitive and informative data visualizations using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Excel to present findings clearly to stakeholders.
  • Data Analysis: Apply statistical and analytical techniques to analyze data sets, uncover trends, and provide insights for decision-making.
  • Report Generation: Prepare reports summarizing analysis results and presenting actionable insights to teams and management.
  • Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and provide analytical support for business initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Educational Background: Currently pursuing or recently graduated in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in Python or R for data analysis and manipulation (experience with Pandas, NumPy, and Matplotlib is a plus).
    • Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Excel.
    • Understanding of statistical methods and their application in data analysis.
    • Knowledge of databases and SQL for querying and extracting data is a plus.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Detail-oriented with a passion for working with data and deriving insights.
    • Good communication skills to present complex data findings in an understandable way.
    • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a remote team setting.
