Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze system vulnerabilities and security risks.
- Assist in implementing and managing firewalls, antivirus programs, and intrusion detection systems.
- Conduct regular security assessments and penetration testing.
- Research emerging cybersecurity threats and recommend preventive measures.
- Support the development and enforcement of security policies and protocols.
- Document security incidents and assist in incident response activities.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of network security principles and protocols.
- Familiarity with tools like Wireshark, Metasploit, or Nessus is a plus.
- Knowledge of programming/scripting languages like Python or Bash is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
