Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze system vulnerabilities and security risks.
• Assist in implementing and managing firewalls, antivirus programs, and intrusion detection systems.
• Conduct regular security assessments and penetration testing.
• Research emerging cybersecurity threats and recommend preventive measures.
• Support the development and enforcement of security policies and protocols.
• Document security incidents and assist in incident response activities.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of network security principles and protocols.
• Familiarity with tools like Wireshark, Metasploit, or Nessus is a plus.
• Knowledge of programming/scripting languages like Python or Bash is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
