Job Description

Duration: 3-6 months

Key Responsibilities

  1. Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on web applications, networks, and systems.
  2. Identify and report security weaknesses, misconfigurations, and potential attack vectors.
  3. Assist in the development and execution of security testing plans to assess the security posture of applications.
  4. Work closely with the development team to suggest and implement security enhancements.
  5. Analyze malware and develop strategies to mitigate and protect against future threats.
  6. Stay up-to-date with the latest security vulnerabilities, hacking techniques, and cybersecurity trends.
  7. Document findings and provide recommendations for improving security measures.

Qualifications

  • Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS, etc.) and common web application vulnerabilities (e.g., SQL injection, XSS).
  • Familiarity with ethical hacking tools like Kali Linux, Burp Suite, Nmap, Metasploit, or Wireshark.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills to explain complex security issues to non-technical teams.
  • Knowledge of ethical hacking methodologies and best practices is a plus.
  • Certification like CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker) or equivalent is a bonus but not mandatory.
