Job Description

TechWave Infomatics is a digital marketing agency specializing in driving organic growth for businesses through strategic SEO practices. We help businesses build strong online presences and increase visibility across search engines. We are looking for an enthusiastic SEO Intern to join our team and assist with optimizing web content, improving search engine rankings, and executing effective SEO strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Keyword Research: Assist in conducting keyword research using tools like Google Keyword Planner, Ahrefs, and SEMrush to identify high-traffic keywords relevant to the business.
  • On-Page Optimization: Help optimize web pages for SEO by implementing effective keyword strategies, improving meta tags, headers, and URL structures.
  • Content Optimization: Assist in creating and optimizing content for blog posts, articles, product descriptions, and other website content to boost organic traffic.
  • Backlink Strategy: Support the development of a backlink strategy to build high-quality backlinks to improve domain authority.
  • SEO Audits: Conduct SEO audits to identify areas for improvement on client websites and assist in fixing issues related to site structure, content, and technical SEO.
  • Reporting and Analytics: Monitor website performance using Google Analytics and Google Search Console; assist in creating monthly SEO performance reports and tracking key metrics like organic traffic, rankings, and conversions.

Qualifications

  • Educational Background: Currently pursuing or recently graduated in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Basic understanding of SEO principles and best practices.
    • Familiarity with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other SEO tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, or Moz.
    • Strong writing and communication skills for content creation and optimization.
    • A basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and web development concepts is a plus.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Strong attention to detail and a passion for digital marketing.
    • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
    • Excellent research and analytical skills with a focus on performance-driven outcomes.
    • Eagerness to learn and stay updated with the latest SEO trends and best practices.
