Key Responsibilities

1. Assist in designing and developing WordPress websites, ensuring high performance and user-friendly interfaces.
2. Customize themes and plugins to meet specific project requirements.
3. Collaborate with the content team to integrate multimedia elements (images, videos, etc.) and optimize content for better user engagement.
4. Maintain and update existing WordPress websites, ensuring all content is current and functioning properly.
5. Work on optimizing website load times, SEO, and ensuring mobile responsiveness.
6. Stay updated with the latest WordPress trends, themes, and best practices.

Qualifications

1. Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Web Design, Computer Science, or a related field.
2. Familiarity with WordPress, including theme customization, plugins, and basic HTML/CSS.
3. Knowledge of website optimization, performance improvements, and SEO best practices.
4. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to WordPress websites.
5. Creative thinking and attention to detail.
6. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with a remote team.
7. A portfolio of personal or academic WordPress projects is a plus.
